Veneer over the entire elevation including a round turret, where every course has to be sorted and cut to keep the joint width honest around the curve. Arched window heads and a brick water table tie it to the rest of the house.
A curved brick seat wall wraps a four-quadrant paver medallion patio, with broad steps leading down into the yard — part of the same install as the brick columns and cedar pergola just off to the side.
Firebox lined in firebrick with a soldier-course lintel and a stone hearth, built tight to an existing fence line where there was no room for error.
A wood-fired oven and full brick chimney with a corbelled cap, a working counter run, and a herringbone apron laid under the arch. Built on its own footing so the stack stays plumb through freeze-thaw.
Two-tone blended stone on a commercial building, staged around active scaffolding and other trades. Mock-up panel approved before the first stone went on the wall.
